The Search
It all started when Leo began searching for something different for his daughters outdoor play equipment that wasn't covered in garish colours or made from flimsy plastic. He wanted pieces that were beautiful, timeless, and would compliment the garden as much as they inspired play. But after weeks of searching, the only options that matched his vision were bespoke creations with price tags far beyond reach.
The Search

He wanted pieces that were beautiful, timeless, and would complement the garden as much as they inspired play. But after weeks of searching, the only options that matched his vision were bespoke creations with price tags far beyond reach.
The Partnership
After a few conversations with Iain, an old school friend, former rugby teammate of 20 years, and a carpenter with over 15 years of experience, the idea for Vesta Play began to take shape. Together, they set out to solve the problem on a wider scale: to create beautifully crafted outdoor play equipment that parents would be proud to have in their gardens, and children could develop, explore, and grow with without the bespoke price tag.
The Creation
A year later, after countless prototypes and hundreds of hours of planning and refining in Iain’s family workshop, the founding collection was born. Crafted from sustainably sourced Robinia — a durable hardwood with a 30–40 year lifespan requiring no treatments — and finished with stainless steel, every piece is built to last.
