Our freestanding wooden chalkboard, framed in natural robinia wood, provides a large surface for creative expression. It fosters fine motor and pre-writing skills, bringing indoor creativity outdoors. Its classic design and natural materials make it a charming, unobtrusive feature, easily positioned to create a dedicated artistic corner in your garden.
Materials + Care
Our products are handcrafted from robinia hardwood, a naturally strong and durable timber that is highly resistant to rot and does not require chemical treatment, making it ideal for outdoor play.
As a natural material, each piece will vary in colour and grain. Over time, the wood will naturally weather to a soft silver-grey colour when left outdoors. This is normal and does not affect durability.
- Check regularly for stability and wear.
- Tighten fixings if needed.
- Lightly sand any rough areas that appear over time.
- Optional: Apply a natural exterior wood oil yearly to maintain colour.
- Place on level ground and supervise during use.
Products can be left outdoors year-round, but covering in extreme weather will help maintain appearance.

Each Vesta Play piece is handmade to order.
Delivery is typically within 3–4 weeks from the date of purchase.

Where possible, we deliver using our own team to ensure your products arrive in perfect condition and are set up safely.

As our products are made to order, we do not accept returns unless an item is faulty or damaged on arrival.
Please inspect your order upon delivery and notify us within 48 hours if there are any issues. We will repair, replace, or resolve the issue as quickly as possible.
